Echo - Virtual user for testing the Army Management
toggle
Hi,

I have just created echo, the virtual user who accepts all invitations.

You can test the Army Management functions by inviting echo to your armies.

Note that in the current version you need to enter the battlefield to refresh the members of your army, so you will see echo only after entering the battlefield.

EDIT: Echo is a bot, he is under testing too. Please report if he fails to join to your army.

Echo works for me. If the bot could respond to messages by echoing back your orders like this Sent-message="testing" Echo-Response= " confirm: 'testing'" that would be cool.

Great feature request and easy to implement! emoticon

Yesterday we have announced a whole new army management subsystem, which makes everything easier. (more info) (Note that the old, invitation based system continues to work, and you can download the old version of the client too, but I recommend to change to the new version) .

This means that echo is not usable in that way anymore, but we will change its behavior to allow testing of the new system. The plan is that he will use the 'echo' security code, and he will be always near to you on the map. Together with this change your request will be implemented too.

Done: If you use the 'echo' security code (without apostrophes), you will see echo near to you. The channel doesn't matter, just the code.

If you send a message or destination command to him, he will confirm the message by repeating it.
